The question is ............what did YOU do

I read a research paper today that had 7 authors. The authors had reported chemical analysis of juice extracted after different treatments. At the end of the paper, the authors thanked 4 people for, and I quote, "their valuable work in carrying out juice manufacture and chemical analysis". The question I would like to ask the authors is, "What did YOU do?"
